78 years young!

The term “age is just a number” has never been more true than for this stunning beauty, who came in to celebrate her 78th birthday in my boudoir studio. Never have I ever met a woman who truly, wholly, and completely embodies the word, “Regal”.

During her shoot, we talked about life, husbands, kids, grandkids, dating, and how so many women she knows who simply stop living just because they got older. I absolutely love that she insists on maintaining a social life, and going out to dinners, and keeping hobbies. “There are so many of us who dictate our own expiration dates while we are still alive.” let me tell you how deeply that sentence hit my heart.

This absolutely stunning woman is currently battling her second go around of breast cancer, and still doesn’t let it slow her down. She’s just one of those women that make you feel inspired.

Although I already firmly believe in the power of female friendships, she added another layer of appreciation for the realness in which women talk with one another. I’m forever grateful for her traveling to me all the way from Canada not only to have these EPIC boudoir photos taken- but also to teach me a few life nuances, and remind me that beauty doesn’t stop once you reach a certain age.
