Miss S...
What inspired you to do a boudoir session?
I was at a lingerie wedding shower when the bride to be talked about what she was going to do with all the gifts she had received. It gave me the idea to research Boudoir Photographers. When I came across Abby's site, I knew I'd found the right place. The quality of her pictures far surpassed anything else I'd looked at.
What made you decide to book your boudoir session with Abby?
The black and white photos on Abby's site were exactly what I was looking for. And Abby's website is extensive: it answered a lot of my questions. I felt like it was a 'now or never' move - I really wanted the pics as a gift for my husband's birthday. When Abby had a last minute cancellation, it was meant to be.
If you were to recommend Love And Boudoir to a friend, what would you say?
While Abby's website and IG show what a pro she is, wait until you meet her! I feel like I gained a friend through out the whole process. She is just absolutely lovely. I gushed so much to a friend of mine, that she booked her own session within a week.
How would you rate your Boudoir experience on a scale of 1-10?
10 out of 10. I could not even think of one aspect of the shoot or production process where I could say, "I wish we could have done this..." Above and beyond is an understatement for Abby.
How has your boudoir experience affected you or changed you?
When I look at my photos, I see myself but a totally glam version! I am waiting for my order to come in, but I am just beyond grateful and excited to have this keepsake for my husband and I.
What advice would you give someone who is nervous or hesitant about booking their own boudoir session with me?
As I told my friend, it's kind of different to what you're expecting. Once your hair and make up is finished, it's just you and Abby for a few hours, in the privacy of her studio. She is talking you through absolutely everything from which outfits will work, to EXACTLY how to hold a pose. Abby is SO good, that I when I emailed her examples of her previous photos that I really liked, she had these memorized and ready to create for my own session. Impressive. Abby quickly disperses all your feelings of nervousness, insecurity etc. TRUST ME!
What was your favorite part of your Boudoir session with me?
Going back for the photo editing process, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Choosing the photos that I thought my husband would like, along with seeing how the 'poses' turned out, it was just fascinating and so fun!
