Why Can Boudoir Photography Be Expensive?

I completely understand why someone seeing boudoir pricing for the first time might wonder this.

After all, aren’t you just paying someone to take pictures?

Not quite.

Luxury boudoir photography is a highly specialized portrait experience.

You’re paying for the photographer’s experience with posing, lighting, angles, expression, body positioning, editing, privacy, studio space, professional equipment and, perhaps most importantly, the ability to make someone who has probably NEVER modeled before feel comfortable in front of a camera.

At my studio, I don’t expect you to walk in knowing what you’re doing.

Actually, most of my clients don’t.

You don’t need to know how to pose.

You don’t need to know what to do with your hands.

You don’t need to practice facial expressions in the mirror.

And you definitely don’t need a “model body.”

I guide you through all of it.

That level of direction is a huge part of what you’re investing in when you choose an experienced boudoir photographer.

What Should Be Included in a Luxury Boudoir Experience?
